素材は、オーストラリア産のメリノ種から刈り取られる上質なウール（羊毛）を使用。繊維が細くしなやかで、耐久性や弾力感が強く、数あるウールの中でも最上級と言われています。特に「オーストラリア産メリノウール」は高品質とされ、世界のメゾンブランドも認める素材です。約19.5マイクロンという細い繊維が特徴の「エクストラファインメリノウール」を使っています。
「ウールはチクチクする」というイメージがある人も多いと思いますが、繊維が細く、しなやかなエクストラファインメリノウールを100％使用しているので、とても肌触り良く、なめらかな生地となっています。チクチク感が苦手な方にもぜひ試していただきたい素材です。

A basic crew neck is now available from MOONCASTLE's autumn/winter classic "Merino Wool Series". The shiny and beautiful knit fabric brings out the charm of adults.
The material used is high quality wool harvested from Australian merino sheep. The fibers are fine and supple, with strong durability and elasticity, and it is said to be the finest of all wools. In particular, "Australian merino wool" is considered to be of high quality, and is a material recognized by many of the world's major brands. We use "extra fine merino wool," which is characterized by its fine fibers of approximately 19.5 microns.
Many people have the image that wool is prickly, but because 100% extra fine merino wool with thin and supple fibers is used, the fabric is very comfortable and smooth to the touch. This material is a must-try even for those who do not like the prickly feeling.
